Executive Management

 

Kim Stanford
Managing Director

Kim has in excess of 35 years’ experience in the drilling sector of the oil and gas industry.  His career has seen him work extensively with Seadrill and its predecessor companies in South East Asia and further afield.   Kim has held a variety of management roles operating self-erecting tender assisted drilling rigs in Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei and Malaysia.   In 2006, Kim successfully performed the role of Drilling Superintendent with Addax Petroleum in Nigeria before returning to South East Asia in 2009 to Seadrill, heading up their HSE Department.   Kim has considerable experience managing shipyard projects including managing the first purpose built semi-submersible tender drilling rig operating for Shell in Brunei.

 

Jim Lattis
Chief Administration Officer

Jim has been with Triumph Drilling since the company’s inception in 2006 and after 4 years as Financial Director, as well as leading the international administration department, he was elected CAO. A 34-year veteran of the oil and gas industry, Jim has vast experience with major offshore drilling contractors around the world. Starting his career with Santa Fe Drilling where he moved up the ranks to the position of controller of mid-continent operations, Jim has since held senior financial management positions at ENSCO, Diamond Offshore, and Marine Drilling. He also served as administrative manager for engineering and projects at Pride International, and was the international controller at TODCO. Jim has a degree in Economics from California State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Ms. Gan Hwee ShuGan Hwee Shu
Director of Human Resources

Hwee Shu has over 15 years of experience in Human Resource Management in the shipping and oil & gas industries. Prior to joining Triumph Drilling, she served as Human Resource Manager of Frigstad Offshore where she was involved in all people related strategies, policies, and programs development. She holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration from Coventry University in United Kingdom and is a certified Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) at WorldatWork Society of Certified Professionals.

Management

Mark Boyd
Operations Manager – Malaysia

Prior to joining Triumph Drilling, Mark spent the last 30 years with Pride International and KCA Deutag holding various positions in operations. Mark has vast experience managing platform, jack-up and tender assist rigs. Mark has gained his international experience from assignments in SE Asia, West Africa, Mexico and the US GOM.

 

 

Derek Pigg
Director of Supply Chain

Derek has 29 years in the offshore oil and gas industry holding various positions in the Supply Chain Management of Transocean from Warehouseman to Regional Supply Chain Manager and Global Strategic Sourcing Manager. Derek holds a Bachelors of Commerce from RC College of Commerce Bangalore

 

 

Sean Lattis
Commercial Manager

Prior to being appointed to the role of Commercial Manager, Sean served as a Financial Analyst out of the US office and has served in various other roles with Triumph Drilling since joining in 2007. Sean has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Baylor University.

 

 

Silas Tan
Financial Controller

Prior to joining Triumph Drilling, Silas was the Regional Financial Controller of ITS Scomi Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. Silas holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from Curtin University of Technology Perth, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Manchester, and is a Certified Public Accountant with the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Singapore and CPA Australia.

 

 

Andrew Scarry
HSE Manager

Andrew began his career in the oil and gas sector as a commercial diver in the North Sea in 1993. Since 2004 he has held health and safety positions on and offshore. In 2006 he moved into the drilling industry before joining the Company in July 2011.
